PHOENIX @ NanoGVA in Geneva
From 5-6 October 2023, PHOENIX scientific coordinator Dr. Nazende Günday-Türeli (MyBiotech) participated in the NanoGVA 2023 symposium at Campus Biotech in Geneva, Switzerland.
First, she introduced the PHOENIX-OITB project in an oral presentation entitled “PHOENIX Open Innovation Test Bed – New insight to
advancing nanopharmaceuticals”. Later that day, she spoke during a podium discussion.
“I really enjoyed the NanoGVA symposium since it was a good size medium to meet many others who are working for the same goal following different paths and disciplines and discuss in person about the next steps: like puzzle pieces that should be brought together to advance the nanomedicine,” says Dr. Günday-Türeli.
“Seeing the efforts from the others confirmed my belief once again that we are on the right track for bridging nanomedicine to patient`s bedside. It was also a great opportunity to reach out to young scientist working in the field to point out the unmet need and how they could shape their research to contribute to these aspects.”
